Fashion Designing Course Launched

School Renovation and Painting Work at Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna
Reviving Spaces. Renewing Smiles.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving learning environments, the Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust undertook a complete renovation of Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna. The entire school building—both inside and out—received a fresh coat of paint, bringing new life and vibrancy to the classrooms and corridors. Broken doors and windows were replaced to ensure safety and comfort, while brand-new desks were provided to enhance the learning experience for students. The washrooms were upgraded with new sinks and improved sanitation facilities, and better lighting arrangements were installed to create a bright, welcoming atmosphere. This initiative reflects our belief that every child deserves to learn in a clean, safe, and inspiring environment—one that encourages learning, creativity, and pride in their school.
Bhojana Shala (Dining Hall) Facility

A new Bhojana Shala (Dining Hall) has been constructed at Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna, providing students with a clean, comfortable, and dedicated space to enjoy their mid-day meals. The facility is equipped with a proper hand wash area, ensuring hygiene and good health practices among children. To support smooth and efficient meal preparation, the Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust has also provided the necessary stoves, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment. This initiative not only improves the dining experience but also fosters a sense of community and care within the school environment—ensuring that every child enjoys a healthy meal in a dignified setting.
Hygine and Water Facility
Clean, Green, and Sustainable for a Better Tomorrow
As part of our commitment to health, hygiene, and sustainability, the Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust has implemented key infrastructure upgrades across schools in Gokarna. Dustbins have been provided to all schools, encouraging proper waste disposal and cleaner surroundings for students and teachers alike. At Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna, a safe drinking water facility has been installed to ensure students have access to clean and refreshing water throughout the day. Taking a step toward environmental responsibility, the school has also been equipped with a rooftop solar power system, making the entire campus zero-maintenance and electricity-bill-free. These efforts not only promote hygiene and sustainability but also reflect our vision of creating healthier, greener, and more self-reliant educational spaces for future generations.

Encouraging Growth, Excellence, and Community Spirit
The Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust continues to champion holistic development through a wide range of student-centered and community-building initiatives. To support education and well-being, new school uniforms and school bags were distributed to students, ensuring that every child attends school with pride and confidence. Recognizing hard work and academic excellence, cash prizes and awards were presented to rank holders and top performers, inspiring students to continue striving for success. Additionally, sportswear and shoes were provided to students representing the school at national-level competitions, encouraging active participation and athletic spirit. Beyond individual support, the Trust has also contributed to improving learning environments by donating eight new blackboards to nearby schools. Taking development a step further, a village has been adopted under the Model Village Program, focusing on integrated progress in education, health, and sustainability. Through these collective efforts, we aim to nurture confident learners, motivated achievers, and empowered communities ready to shape a brighter future.
Science and Mathematics Lab Renovation and Equipment Provided

To strengthen hands-on learning and spark scientific curiosity among students, the Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust has undertaken a complete renovation of the Science and Mathematics Laboratories at Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna. The upgraded labs now offer a clean, modern, and well-organized space that fosters exploration and innovation. As part of this initiative, the Trust has also provided all essential laboratory equipment and materials required for practical experiments and demonstrations. These improvements empower teachers to conduct interactive sessions and help students gain a deeper, real-world understanding of scientific and mathematical concepts. This project reflects our belief that quality education goes beyond textbooks—by giving young minds the tools and environment to question, experiment, and learn through experience.
Astronomy Sessions at Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna

In collaboration with the Himalayan Space Centre, the Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust proudly organized an immersive Astronomy Learning Experience at Shri Bhadrakali School, Gokarna. Over two engaging evenings, students explored the mysteries of the universe - learning about the Solar System, observing Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and the Moon through telescopes, and identifying constellations with the help of the Stellarium app. They also got hands-on experience with different telescope parts and types, making science come alive under the night sky. The sessions were designed to ignite curiosity and wonder among students from both Kannada and English medium schools, transforming classrooms into gateways to the stars. This initiative reflects our ongoing mission to spark scientific thinking and inspire the next generation of explorers, dreamers, and innovators.
Debate Competition on the Pros and Cons of Using Mobile Phones

The Shrii Chami Vidhyavahini Trust recently hosted an engaging debate competition that brought together talented students from five schools across Gokarna to discuss a topic that touches every young life today — the pros and cons of using mobile phones. The event was marked by passionate speeches, thoughtful perspectives, and lively discussions as participants explored both the opportunities and challenges posed by mobile technology. From improved connectivity and learning access to concerns over screen time and distraction, the students showcased remarkable awareness and reasoning skills. Events like these reflect our commitment to fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and responsible digital citizenship among students.
